Education
I am an Amsterdam-based visual artist and documentary photographer whose interdisciplinary practice explores the entangled relationships between people, non-human life, and the environments we share. I graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 2022, and my work engages with themes of memory, ecological transformation, and the cultural heritage embedded in landscapes.
Working across photography, sound, immersive media, and site-specific research, I use visual storytelling as a tool to connect, reflect, and provoke dialogue. My long-term projects—such as Ode to Home, Corridors of Memory, New Horizon Initiative, and Landscapes in Motion—investigate how homes, ecosystems, and bodies carry traces of time, trauma, and resilience.
Through my practice, I aim to contribute to the cultural imagination by foregrounding ecological empathy, expanding the representation of non-human perspectives, and addressing the consequences of environmental and political decision-making.
